What You'll Do

We are seeking a Plumbing Design Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience in plumbing systems design while working alongside experienced professionals on projects that make a difference in communities nationwide.



  • Assist engineers in the design of plumbing systems for various facility types, including healthcare, education, commercials, sports and entertainment projects.
  • Participate in site visits, design meetings, and internal project reviews.
  • Prepare calculations, diagrams, and technical documentation using Revit.
  • Conduct research to support engineering decisions and code compliance.
  • Collaborate across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.) in a team-focused environment.
  • Gain familiarity with industry codes and standards including IPC, UPC, NFPA, and ASPE.



Who We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field with an interest in building systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD tools (preferred but not required).
  • Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of theories and methodologies relevant to the discipline.
  • Clear written communication and presentation skills; strong speech clarity.
  • Judgment and decisionmaking, with attention to detail and followthrough.
  • Positive interpersonal collaboration and professionalism in team settings.



What We Offer



  • Paid overtime and a housing allowance provided for interns who do not reside near any of our office locations.
