What to Expect

We are looking for an Accounting Operations Program Manager with a solid finance and accounting foundation in Accounts Receivable to support cross-functional initiatives focused on finance, ERP optimization, and process automation.

The ideal candidate will apply hands-on accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 or other professional accounting exposure, to strengthen our Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle end-to-end: customer orders, billing and invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, cash application, deductions and disputes, and revenue recognition. You will support technical programs across the systems that run these processes, working alongside senior program managers, Accounting, and Engineering.

What You'll Do
  • Support month-end close for AR, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, accruals, and end-of-month (EOM) reconciliation processes to drive a faster, more accurate close
  • Review and reconcile AR sub-ledger activity, customer accounts, aging, unapplied and unidentified cash, credit memos, and write-offs and participate in recon triage calls with cross-functional partners
  • Support end-to-end program delivery for O2C initiatives, including billing and collections automation and financial systems improvements
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Data, Engineering, and IT teams on O2C projects
  • Contribute to initiatives in financial data governance, AR reporting automation, and operational scalability
  • Support ERP optimization, system integrations, and O2C reporting infrastructure
  • Help translate AR and revenue business requirements into technical requirements in collaboration with engineering and systems teams
  • Track program roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables, and keep stakeholders current on status and risks

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of accounts receivable or revenue accounting experience
  • 2-5 years of combined experience across accounting operations, program/project coordination, finance transformation, or financial systems implementation
  • Working knowledge of financial close, reconciliations, billing, collections, cash application, and financial reporting
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to finance automation and accounts receivable process improvement
  • Experience maintaining AR records and performing reconciliations in QuickBooks, Intuit, or a similar accounting platform
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query); familiarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
  • Background in accounting operations, FP&A, or financial analytics
  • Progress toward CPA, CFA, or PMP is advantageous
