We AreSynopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow. You AreYou have spent years in the semiconductor space and you understand that emulation is not just another tool, it is the difference between a chip that tapes out on time and one that burns six months chasing bugs in silicon. You know how to listen to a verification manager describe their problem and translate it into a solution that involves emulation, FPGA prototyping, or virtual platforms without sounding like you are reading a datasheet. You are comfortable in technical conversations where the customer knows more about their design than you ever will, but you also know how to frame the business case for a VP who cares about schedule risk and engineering headcount, not clock cycles. You have closed deals that took months to develop because you stayed close, brought the right technical resources at the right time, and did not disappear after the contract signature. You think in customer outcomes, not quotas. When a deal gets complicated, you do not hand it off, you work through it. At Synopsys, you will sell products that actually matter to teams trying to verify the next generation of chips powering everything from data centers to autonomous vehicles. What You'll Be DoingDrive sales of Synopsys emulation, FPGA prototyping, and virtual prototyping solutions to semiconductor and system companies in your territoryWork directly with design and verification teams to understand their hardware and software verification challenges and position the right technical solutionCollaborate with Synopsys field application engineers and technical specialists to scope solutions, run evaluations, and build proof of value with customersDevelop and present business proposals that connect technical capabilities to customer schedule, cost, and risk prioritiesNegotiate and close complex, multi-quarter sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and executive leadershipPartner with customer success and technical account teams post-sale to ensure deployment success, adoption, and expansion opportunitiesMaintain accurate pipeline forecasting and account planning in Salesforce, keeping leadership informed on deal progress and riskThe Impact You Will HaveYou will directly enable semiconductor companies to reduce verification cycles and get products to market faster by deploying the right emulation and prototyping platformsYour ability to position technical value will help engineering teams justify and secure budget for verification infrastructure that scales with their design complexityThe relationships you build will create long-term partnerships where Synopsys becomes the trusted verification platform provider across multiple product generationsYou will influence product roadmap priorities by surfacing real customer needs and competitive gaps back to product management and engineeringYour deal structuring and negotiation will contribute measurably to Synopsys revenue growth in one of the highest-value product lines in the EDA portfolioThe solutions you help deploy will support verification of chips that power AI, automotive, mobile, and cloud infrastructure used by millions of peopleYou will help customers adopt newer technologies like virtual prototyping and hybrid verification flows that fundamentally change how they develop hardware and software togetherWhat You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field5 to 8 years of experience in IC design, verification, or technical sales within the semiconductor industryDemonstrated success selling or supporting complex technical products, ideally in EDA, emulation, simulation, or verification toolsStrong understanding of chip design and verification workflows including RTL simulation, emulation, FPGA prototyping, and software bring-upProven ability to manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving engineering teams, IT, procurement, and executive decision makersExperience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast, and track customer engagementExperience selling business value and ROI to director and VP-level executives is a strong plusWho You AreYou can sit in a technical deep dive with a verification lead and then walk into an executive meeting an hour later and explain why this deal matters in two sentencesYou do not wait for the perfect moment to engage a customer, you find a reason to add value and start the conversation even when there is no active opportunityYou are disciplined about pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy because you know your manager and the business depend on reliable data, not optimismYou bring technical resources into deals at the right time, not too early when the customer is not ready and not too late when you have lost credibilityYou handle objections and competitive pressure without getting rattled, you listen, acknowledge the concern, and refocus the conversation on what the customer is actually trying to solveYou follow through after the sale because you know that reference customers and expansions come from teams that actually succeeded with your product, not just signed a contractThe Team You'll Be Part OfYour recruiter will share more about the team structure and mission during the interview process.Rewards and BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs.
