Senior Philanthropy Director - Principal Gifts

SUMMARY:

Leads Brown Health's principal gifts program and secures transformational philanthropic investments in support of the organization's highest priorities. Partners closely with executive leadership, physicians, volunteers, and major donors to advance enterprise fundraising opportunities.

Performance Expectations

• Portfolio of 50-75 principal gift prospects and donors.

• Annual fundraising goal of $5M+.

• Active strategy for all assigned prospects.

• Consistent pipelinethat supportsseven-figure opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for transformational philanthropic investments.

• Personallysolicitand secure principal gifts.

• Coordinate complex donor strategies involving leadership, physicians, volunteers, and multiple stakeholders.

• Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned prospects and donors.

• Maintainaccurateforecasting, portfolioactions, and planswithinCRMsystem.

• Partner across fundraising and supporting services teams to advancetop-tierdonor strategies.

• Primary partner with university colleagues onjointprospect strategy,initiatives, and solicitation.

Liaison Responsibilities

• Serve asprimaryphilanthropy liaison for assignedarea.

• Maintain relationships with executive, clinical, research, and operational leadersinarea.

• Educate colleagues on priorities and opportunitiesinarea.

• Maintain awareness andsupportdonor strategies, proposals, and leadership briefingsand visits for that area.

EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of fundraising experience.

• Demonstrated success securing seven-figure commitments.

• Exceptional strategic planning,executive presence,relationship management, and communication skills.
