As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Awareness in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and healthcare partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
