  • Monitor all phases of plant production and make operational adjustments as needed to maximize efficiency and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot production, equipment, and operational issues and actively participate in identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Coordinate production schedules and material demands with paving operations, dispatch, trucking, and customers.
  • Ensure all asphalt products are produced in accordance with approved specifications and mix designs.
  • Respond to operational issues during both day and night shift production activities as needed.

Maintenance & Equipment Reliability

  • Work closely with maintenance personnel to develop and execute preventative maintenance programs.
  • Regularly inspect plant equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and production-related issues.
  • Coordinate shutdowns, repairs, and plant improvement projects.

Customer Service & Operational Support

  • Serve as a key point of contact to maximize production for internal and external customers regarding production schedules and material availability.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure timely support of paving and external sales activities.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns and operational challenges in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support the overall success of the business through strong communication and collaboration across departments.

Night Shift & Flexible Work Requirements

  • Provide leadership and oversight for both daytime and nighttime plant operations.
  • Adjust work schedules as necessary to meet production demands and support plant personnel across shifts.
  • Be available to respond to operational issues, production interruptions, equipment failures, and emergency situations outside of normal business hours.
  • Ensure night shift operations meet the same standards for safety, quality, productivity, and customer service as daytime operations.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000, based on experience.
