Position Summary Help strengthen the connection between independent operators and the teams that support them. At Hannaford, you'll play a critical role in delivering financial accuracy, solving complex challenges, and fostering strong business relationships. As the Supervisor Independent Accounts, you will manage the accurate and timely production of the independent financial statements and budgets. Act as a liaison between the independent operators and shared services accounting and payroll departments. Research and identify issues and provide solutions/suggestions to shared service leaders. Support and cultivate relationships with independent operators and shared service departments and leaders. Primary Duties & Responsibilities As the Supervisor Independent Accounts, your primary duties and responsibilities will be: Manage the independent accounting department. Manage financial statement preparation for independent accounts. Delegate workflow, teach, and encourage associates. Liaison between independent operators and shared services. Advise Director of Independent Accounts on accounting issues. Communicate and coordinate new independent store set up. Research and identify issues and provide solutions/suggestions to shared services leaders. Stay abreast of accounting procedures and practices. Qualifications & Experience Succes in this role requires the following qualifications and experience: 5+ managing in an automated accounting and financial reporting environment. Preferably, a candidate will have: General ledger, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook experience. Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Business. Additional Details: The pay range for this role is: $63,440 - $95,160/year. This position is eligible for an at-target Short-Term Incentive of 5% of your base salary (pro-rated). Perform additional responsibilities and participate in special projects as needed to support evolving business and organizational objectives.
