Introduction to the job

ASML is seeking an experienced technical project manager to play a key role in bringing critical modules from development into highvolume manufacturing. In this position, you will drive sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing readiness in line with the EUV Source product roadmap.

The role is part of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) within Supplier Collaboration & Quality (SC&Q) and represents the sourcing perspective in a crossfunctional Module Delivery Unit. SC&Q within ASML is responsible for ensuring that new parts and products are successfully introduced into the supply chain and scaled for reliable, costeffective production.

Working closely with colleagues from Development & Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and our global supply chain partners, you will help translate product innovations into manufacturable solutions. This includes managing supply chain requirements, coordinating product introductions and phaseouts, handling complex parts and engineering changes, and ensuring material and infrastructure readiness throughout the product lifecycle.

To be successful, you combine strong commercial insight with handson experience in supplier management and have a proven track record of leading suppliers from New Product Introduction (NPI) into stable highvolume manufacturing.

Role and responsibilities

As an MDU SS&P Delivery Leader you lead the sourcing and industrialization of modules from supplier selection through New Product Introduction (NPI) and into stable High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). You ensure suppliers are successfully contracted, industrialized, and ramped in line with ASML's QLTCS targets (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost, and Sustainability).

You manage supply chain risks and requirements at Module Delivery Unit (MDU) level across the full product lifecycle, from feasibility and design through rampup, release for volume, and phasedown.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Represent Strategic Sourcing & Procurement within the MDU leadership team and serve as the primary SS&P leader and escalation point for all supply chain, sourcing, industrialization, and supplier readiness activities within the MDU.
  • Drive timely supplier selection and contracting in alignment with business and product roadmap needs.
  • Lead NPI activities with selected suppliers through industrialization and HVM rampup.
  • Apply Early Supplier Involvement and Concurrent Engineering principles to enable scalable, affordable and robust designs.
  • Drive technical design decisions through early supplier involvement and concurrent engineering, delivering manufacturable and scalable products that meet QLTCS targets with a reliable supply chain for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Ensure design and material readiness for production, driving timely completion and release of product and supplier documentation so that components can be ordered and rampup can proceed without delays.
  • Lead the breakdown of cost targets into prioritized work packages, ensures early crossfunctional and supplier alignment, and safeguards CoG, supplychain cycle time, and repair/reuse feasibility throughout design and lifecycle decisions.
  • Lead and coordinate the SS&P supply chain industrialization team in the MDU, including PLM Project Coordinators, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Configuration Leads, ensuring alignment and delivery of QLTCS objectives
  • Own SS&P readiness assessments and recommendations for Product Generation Process (PGP) decision gates and represent the MDU in supply chain readiness reviews.
  • Manage commercial aspects with suppliers, including Cost of Goods, NRE, OPEX, CAPEX and lead time, in close collaboration with the Account Lead(s).
  • Co-own supplier QLTCS industrialization roadmaps and drive realization of quality, logistics, technology, cost, and sustainability objectives through cross-functional teams and supplier partners.
  • Drive first-time-right industrialization by proactively identifying risks, ensuring supplier readiness, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders early in the product lifecycle.
  • Identify and resolve supplier constraints and bottlenecks across multitier supply chains.

Education and experience

  • Degree in engineering or related technical field. Master's highly preferred.
  • 10+ years relevant professional experience in a high-tech NPI environment.
  • Strong background in industrialization, supply chain, or sourcing.

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across operational and senior levels
  • Possess technical knowledge to challenge and shape product design decisions to enable manufacturability, cost, and supply chain performance (QLTCS) targets
  • Ability to translate supply chain risks, requirements, and supplier commitments into actionable plans and decisions
  • Strong cross-sector influencing skills and the confidence to challenge stakeholders when supply chain requirements are not adequately addressed
