Auria is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the development and delivery of the Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS) Global SATCOM Satellite Configuration Control Element (GSCCE). This is an onsite position based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain DevSecOps solutions that support the automated building, testing, and deployment of containerized microservices. This role will focus on developing, enhancing, and optimizing automated deployment and testing capabilities within a cloud-based software factory deployed across on-premises environments. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams to build and maintain secure, reliable, scalable, and repeatable software delivery pipelines. The role is critical to enabling efficient software development, continuous integration and delivery, and the secure deployment of mission-critical capabilities. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO: Responsible for developing and enhancing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations in multiple cloud service environments Support software quality efforts associated with product deliveries, conduct ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps toolchain, and implement upgrades to the software factory as needed Conduct automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and methods Recommend and implement upgrades and modifications to DevSecOps workflows and tools/products Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel to support on-site GSCCE installations WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world. Engineer Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years relevant experience or master's degree and 4 or more years relevant experience Engineer Level 4: Bachelor's degree and 12 or more years of experience or master's degree with 9 or more years of experience. Strong programming skills in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and AzureCLI Experience using GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, and Jenkins Experience using AWS cloud and GCC High Experience with planning or supporting planning missions over a SATCOM constellation Experience with Spacecraft configuration and SATCOM resource allocation Experience using application security concepts and vulnerability remediation techniques Experience working within an agile system development framework, conducting engineering tasks for a complex system Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage numerous demonstration events at the same time Active US Secret security clearance WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: Experience with software development, test automation, and system automation that supports the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and Security as Code (SaC) Expertise with a modern software factory's CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies. This includes knowledge of technologies such as GitLab, Ansible, Terraform,, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
