What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position:

1. Primary human cell culture (especially macrophages and fibroblasts)

2. RNA and protein biomarker analysis (qPCR, ELISA, MSD, etc.)

3. Basic imaging analysis of cell culture (especially IF)

4. Independent design and conduction of biology experiments

Requirements for lab skills and research experience:

1. Highly experienced in primary human cell culture models (especially using macrophages and fibroblasts)

2. Experience with RNA and protein biomarker analysis assays (qPCR, ELISA, MSD)

3. Experience with imaging analysis of cell culture models (fluorescence microscopy, immunofluorescence)

4. Ability to independently design, execute, troubleshoot, and report on lab experiments

5. Experience with complex in vitro coculture models of primary human cell types, or advanced immunology assays, or ECM (extracellular matrix) biology research would be nice to have

We have an exciting opportunity to join our collaborative team of immunologists, molecular and cellular biologists, and pharmacologists. We are seeking a talented and independently motivated scientist with experience in primary human cell culture, RNA and protein biomarker assays, and imaging analysis of cell culture models. This position will be primarily laboratory-focused and will support human cell culture models and assays to assess novel therapeutic modalities and drug mechanism of action.

Applicants should have broad laboratory research experience using cell and molecular biology techniques. Open and detailed communication are essential. The candidate is expected to operate in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary setting and must be able to execute multiple research projects in parallel.

Key Responsibilities:

* Establish primary human cell culture models and conduct molecular, biochemical, and imaging analysis using various techniques and assays

* Develop, implement, and document experimental protocols/techniques/results

* Engage in cross-functional, novel therapeutic platform-based drug discovery projects in immunology

* Collaborate with scientists across diverse areas in a matrixed research environment
