Position Summary:
Currently the Center for Natural Resources has
received funding for a few new projects and this position is needed in
allocating a skilled resource to one of these projects. We have a project
deliverable due in December for which a new employee will be required to
assist with oil emulsion tests, analyze and curate the data in CNR laboratory,
and also assist with the field tests we are planning in June at Ohmsett.

Essential Functions:
Assist in conducting
experiments in the laboratory and in the field (natural systems) in relation to
oil spills and healthy coastal systems, will also work on data processing,
especially data related to climate change.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Master's in civil or environmental engineering or
equivalent.
- Any experience in working in labs.
- At the university's discretion, the education and
experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to
the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and
experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
