What You'll Do




  • The Account Representative will observe and execute the procedures directly involved in the daily operation of the Surety Division as well as providing support to the Division Manager and Producer's (Sales). General job duties include but are not limited to:



    • Type legal forms
    • Invoice all surety bond transactions
    • Report surety bond documents to surety companies
    • Work with Surety Account Managers to set up and maintain client files, bond files, and surety company files
    • Assist Surety Department Manager and Surety Account Executives with various projects
    • Perform functions of the role within an IMA office 100% of the time (hybrid remote work schedule available at Surety Department Manager's discretion)
    • Six months of similar or related administrative experience is preferred
    • Strong attention to detail required
    • Excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to present and articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner
    • Strong reasoning skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
    • Demonstrated commitment to work through projects to completion
    • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other programs
    • Willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibilities as the need arises




You Should Have





    • Six months of similar or related administrative experience is preferred

    • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

    • The willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibilities as the need arise


    *A Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License must be obtained within 90 days of employment

Salary Range
$41,400 $53,800 USD
