Breast Surgical Oncology Surgeon The Department of Surgery of Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California (USC) and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center are seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist (or equivalent) with a focus on benign, malignant, and high-risk breast cancer care. This position offers the unique opportunity for individuals pursuing an academic career in breast surgery while working in a highly collaborative fashion with medical oncology, radiation oncology, plastic surgery, genetics, and radiology as part of our distinguished multidisciplinary breast program. The applicant will have a deep understanding of the integration of surgery with systemic therapies in breast cancer. They will demonstrate advanced surgical expertise in contemporary breast and regional nodal management be proficient in minimally invasive and cosmetically optimized approaches, including nipple-sparing mastectomy, skin-sparing mastectomy, and be able to partner with plastic surgeons to offer oncoplastic techniques that balance oncologic safety with aesthetic outcomes. The successful candidate will actively participate in multidisciplinary decision-making and contribute to the design and execution of clinical trials aimed at advancing evidence-based, patient-centered breast surgical oncology care. The successful, dynamic, and collaborative candidate will join our vibrant practice in the Division of Breast, Endocrine, and Soft Tissue Surgery, which offers significant opportunities for program building and collaboration across clinical disciplines. This position combines academic practice with community-based care, with clinical responsibilities spanning our main academic campus and satellite locations in Arcadia, Pasadena, and La Canada. A strong commitment to teaching and an interest in clinical research are highly desirable. The division participates in ACGME-accredited training programs and maintains an SSO accredited Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship with three fellows per year, offering direct involvement in fellow education, mentorship, and professional development. The division is closely aligned with the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and supports numerous cutting-edge clinical trials in breast cancer. In addition, the role provides meaningful opportunities to build relationships and expand outreach across our regional community network. The annual base salary range for this position is $350,000-$400,000.
