Position Responsibilities
    
  The primary responsibility of the Operations Trainer is to support the Operations Training Manager in executing their tasks, namely identifying Operations training needs to increase a company's productivity and ensure adherence to Corporate Policies/Procedures at the individual level, developing and executing educational workshops and ensuring individual knowledge retention through ongoing skill auditing, re education, and supporting performance review evaluations. 
    
    The primary responsibility of the Operations Trainer is to support the Operations Training Manager in executing their tasks. This includes, but is not limited to:
    
     Work with IEA Leadership to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training
  Support and/or work with Manager of Field Engineering to:  Audit SharePoint and Viewpoint documentation for quality and accuracy  Providing skill assessments to staff/ training recommendations  Engage/support performance review evaluations and recommendations   Develop skill expectations career paths of IEA Operations Employees 
  Create technical training programs for operations based employees and other applicable leadership positions:  Create, maintain, and execute new hire on boarding, annual, and as needed educational programming  Develop or maintain existing presentation materials such as instructional manuals, "How to" videos, mock project documents and software, etc.  Perform individual calls of Project Engineers  Perform site visit of ongoing Projects  Support IEA Operations Management, when applicable, in Corporate Policy and Procedure as informed by field personnel and tangential Corporate Services (Estimating, Project Controls, Procurement, etc.)  Operations Trainer will be responsible for the moderating and or presenting of various inperson operations trainings.  Provide Supplementary training on executing differing project delivery processes (Design Build, Construction Manager/General Contractor, etc.)
  Position desired to be Indianapolis based with an approximate estimated 12 weeks of travel per year max for trainings and site visits.

  Bachelors Degree  
Position Requirements
    
   Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience  Experience with IEA's Construction Operation Processes (documentation control, engineering management job costing and forecasting, estimating, contract management, construction management, performance analysis using Viewpoint, Power BI, and CPM Scheduling)  Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus  Experience with a formal or informal education and mentorship program  Ability to effectively organize numerous streams of information  Ability to effectively transfer knowledge via an assortment of teaching techniques
