The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Pay Range: $66,300.00 - $99,500.00Job Description About the Role: Under general supervision within a framework of established policies and procedures, Sourcing Specialists learn to and perform routine to moderately difficult professional procurement tasks focused on indirect purchasing with IT and services. As experience and proficiency are gained, assignments become more varied and complex, and the level of independent action increases within established guidelines. Assignments are given in specific terms and are subject to frequent review while in progress and upon completion by a Manager or Senior Manager, except where tasks are well defined by established standards, policies, and procedures. There is some latitude for independent judgment. Location: While this position will begin as remote/work-from-home, it is expected to transition to an in-office role in Raleigh, North Carolina, once a dedicated office space is established (anticipated by mid-2026).
