Flux Resources is seeking Construction/Building Inspectors to assist with Disaster Recovery efforts in Iowa and Kansas City, MO. Pate rate is $45/hr.
Actual starting pay is dependent upon experience, education, or other bona fide factors. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
Constructions/Building Inspectors (Mid-Level) * Must have 5 years of experience in a related field (with high school diploma or equivalent) * Must meet state licensure or certification requirements where applicable. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word * Must have the ability to navigate the internet for research purposes. * Must be competent in smart phone usage. * Should be familiar with Grants Manager Tasks: 1. Prepare for site inspection- receive, review, and accept a work order request; coordinate with all site inspection participants; and gather the tools, information and documents needed to conduct site inspections. 2. Receive and accept site inspection work order assignments through Grants Manager. 3. Coordinate logistics with participants and learn as much as possible about damaged infrastructure before the inspection. 4. Call the Applicant's representative one business day before the inspection. 5. Fill out a Site Inspection Report 6. Discuss the Applicant's intended method of repair. 7. Take photos of the facility and components 8. Complete the SIR and request the Applicant's signature. 9. Meet with PDMG to debrief. 10. Enter SIR data into Grants Manager 11. Create and upload documents. 12. Review the SIR and DDD using the DDD Review Checklist 13. Send DDD to the PDMG In addition to the tasks outlined above, Senior level labor categories may manage up to seven (7) contractor Site Inspector. #LI-CR1 | |
